Ishibutai Cherry Blossom

Ishibutai Kofun Tumulus Cherry Blossoms by Night 2019

Ishibutai Kofun Tumulus Cherry Blossoms by Night – ancient monuments and cherry blossoms aglow on a spring night –

This year too, the cherry blossoms at the Ishibutai Kofun Tumulus will be illuminated at night.

The scene of Ishibutai (stone stage) enveloped in light surrounded by over 60 cherry trees in flower offers a singular spring night experience. The giant stones of ancient burial mounds create an overwhelming presence.

The Japanese umbrellas that line the paths evoke a sense of “harmony.”

The cherries by night entice you with a world of elegant simplicity.
